South Downs Lodge features an open-plan living space. The living area is equipped with a Freeview TV, while the dining area is perfectly set up for meals. The fully-equipped kitchen area includes an electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge, and dishwasher. The bedroom boasts a luxurious king-size bed and an en-suite with a walk-in shower and toilet. Additional amenities include gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels, and Wi-Fi, all of which are included. Guests will also receive a welcome pack upon arrival. The property has a front garden, a bike store, and private parking for two cars. Please note, there is a step in the garden.

Guests can arrange horse riding and treks directly with the owners, adding a personalized touch to their stay. The historic cathedral city of Winchester is less than a 25-minute drive away. It offers a wealth of attractions, including Winchester Cathedral, King Arthur’s Round Table, and Jane Austen’s House. Winchester also hosts numerous events throughout the year, from street theatre and jazz festivals to outdoor cinema and Christmas markets featuring an outdoor ice rink. Visitors can wander the cobbled streets, explore boutique shops, and indulge in the city’s thriving food scene. You will find local shops within walking distance as well as The White Lion pub, serving traditional English dishes and Sunday roasts.
