Description
This newly refurbished three bedroom luxury lodge sits within Whitsand Bay Fort, a coastal site offering on-site restaurant, bar, cafe/shop, and other communal amenities.
Located on the beautiful Rame Peninsula, the property is up in an elevated position and offers far reaching views across fields and out to Plymouth Sound. With Freathy Beach in walking distance from the lodge, you can make your way down the stunning (and steep!) cliff path and be on the sand in minutes. Plenty of other local beaches are also less than a mile away, and Millbrook, Kingsand and Cawsand all within easy reach to explore – you will be spoilt for choice with where to go first!
Within the lodge, there is a spacious bright open plan kitchen, living and dining area which is smartly furnished and has all the home comforts you will want to relax and enjoy your holiday. There is a Samsung Smart TV with DVD player, X-Box 360 with 2 controllers and 29 games, bluetooth speaker/with i-phone charger, comfortable sofas, and a large dining table, perfect for coming together for family meals.
The modern kitchen area has all the equipment and amenities you’ll need during your stay, and there is even a utility area with washing machine.
The bedrooms are all beautifully dressed, with comfortable beds and plenty of storage space. The master bedroom has a double bed, and contemporary en-suite shower room with toilet and basin. The second bedroom has 2 full size single beds, and the third has bunk beds. There is a main family bathroom complete with shower over the bath.
Double doors from the triple aspect living room lead outside to a beautifully finished decking area, with garden furniture for that all important siesta after a morning at the beach.
There is a chargeable shared pool available for use, open 7 days a week 9am-6pm (subject to change). Other attractions in the local area include Royal William Yard, an historic Grade I listed victualling yard, and National Trust’s Anthony House, which is less than a 15 minute drive away.
There is one parking space included for the lodge in the car park, but more parking is available on a pay and display basis. Please note that you cannot drive up to the lodge, cars must remain in the car park by reception. There are wheeled trolleys to help you move your luggage.
Pets are very welcome at Serendipity Lodge, and there are dog towels, dog bowls and dog treats all provided in the lodge.
Book online today and look forward to discovering this beautiful part of Cornwall.

What a great place, we were attending a passing out parade at HMS Raleigh for my grand daughter, a lot of the family from different parts of the country, and as the grand father of the group I can honestly say on behalf of all the family we loved it.

Because of the outside lit pathways at night, the curtains let in a lot of light, so black out curtains or blinds would aid a better nights .

The disappointing part was the charge for the Swimming pool at £6.00 per person, with 3 adults staying 14 days adds up to a lot of money, if the lodge was booked through the park then there would be no charge we where told by the site manager.
