Located in the heart of Cockermouth, Willow Dene welcomes up to six guests in a modern, stylish three-bedroom holiday home that is perfect for families or groups and just a stone's throw away from the breath-taking landscapes of the Lake District National Park.
From this home, you can easily reach popular destinations like Keswick, Whinlatter Forest, and Buttermere, all offering unique attractions and natural beauty.
On arrival head into the inviting lounge featuring a Smart TV and Wi-Fi. The spacious, contemporary-styled open-plan kitchen and dining area are perfect for preparing meals and spending quality time together. Equipped with all modern amenities for an easy self-catered stay, the kitchen includes a dishwasher, Nespresso Vertuo machine, induction hob, electric oven, and fridge-freezer.
Outside, enjoy a private grassed garden with a secure area for four-legged friends - ideal for relaxing in the fresh air or dining al fresco during warmer months.
The home is fully equipped with all modern conveniences for a comfortable self-catered stay. Just off the kitchen, the utility room features a washer, dryer, and an additional sink, perfect for cleaning muddy boots after exploring the stunning Cumbrian countryside. For added convenience, the ground floor also includes a WC.
Upstairs, there are three beautifully appointed bedrooms. The spacious master bedroom boasts a super king bed and a superb balcony overlooking Dale View and Harris Park. It’s the perfect spot to watch the sunset, with a table, chairs, and an infrared heater for chillier evenings. The en-suite bathroom features a shower, toilet, sink, heated towel rail, and underfloor heating.
The second bedroom offers a comfortable double bed, while the third bedroom includes two single beds that can be configured into a king upon request. There is also a family bathroom featuring a shower, luxurious bath, toilet, sink, heated towel rail, and underfloor heating.
The Georgian town of Cockermouth is renowned for its charming streets, historic buildings, and vibrant local shops. Explore its rich heritage, including the birthplace of William Wordsworth, and savour delicious local cuisine at various cafes and restaurants.
Outdoor enthusiasts will delight in the abundance of walking and hiking opportunities nearby, with the breath-taking scenery of the lakes and mountains on your doorstep. Whether you prefer leisurely strolls along the River Derwent or more challenging hikes in the hills, there’s something for everyone.
Parking is available for one car on the driveway, though it is quite steep. A handrail is provided along the length of the driveway. Additional public on-road parking for up to three cars is available directly in front of the house; however, these spaces cannot be reserved. Steps are required to access this property from the driveway.
We welcome up to two dogs in this home and kindly ask that pets remain downstairs and off the soft furnishings. Please note, we are unable to accommodate cats.
