The Grove Annexe is an immaculately presented one-bedroom, ground-floor cottage nestled in the Shropshire countryside. Couples will thoroughly enjoy the secluded hot tub in the large garden while there are plenty of books and games to play indoors.
Located 1.4 miles from Craven Arms and 7 miles from Church Stretton, The Grove Annexe is perfectly located for those wanting to explore the beautiful county. Craven Arms has a variety of shops, a hotel with bar and restaurant, takeaways, cafes, as well as the lovely Stokesay Castle and the nearby Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre with its virtual balloon ride over Shropshire.
The Grove Annexe is a perfect base for walkers with with Wenlock Edge and Corvedale Valley close by, along with the picturesque hills around Church Stretton, known as Little Switzerland.
There is a handy utility room should guests require it and gas central heating with a gas fire in the living room for the cold winter nights. Parking for one car, Wi-Fi, a BBQ, TV with BT entertainment package, DVD player and lockable bike storage mean that guests have all the necessary amenities for a relaxing and comfortable stay.
The Annexe adjoins the owner's Grade II listed lodge next door but the large private gardens and separate entrance mean that The Grove Annexe is still perfectly secluded and ideal for a private getaway. Please note that the Grove Annexe is set back from the A49 road and some faint road noise can occasionally be heard from the garden.
The Annexe is strictly no smoking and is not suitable for children. Please be aware parking is included for one vehicle only.

Would also recommend The Stables and the Indian Raza's in the centre of Craven Arms. We will be returning - perhaps to the other more log-cabin like accommodation they have next door. It is located by the A49, so easy to find and. It is also well positioned for getting to the many and varied attractions of South Shropshire. There’s a pub in walking distance. An excellent visitor centre with local walks only a few miles away. There are castles, market towns, local produce, and wonderful hills and walking. Lots to do and yet the area has a quiet feel. I should also mention the friendly and helpful owners next door. |

The accommodation itself is beautiful, well designed ground floor premises, very spacious and great amenities. It’s the perfect place for couples, very private and cosy. The hot tub was a brilliant bonus with lovely light features. The place was decorated so beautifully just in time for Christmas. We were celebrating our birthdays and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect end to the strange year it’s been! Big thanks to Pauline and Paul for their hospitality and drinks and biscuits. What a warm welcome received from Pauline and Paul! Absolutely lovely kind hosts. The location is so lovely and garden views were stunning in the midst of surrounding hills! The accommodation itself is beautiful, well designed ground floor premises, very spacious and great amenities. It’s the perfect place for couples, very private and cosy. The hot tub was a brilliant bonus with lovely light features. The place was decorated so beautifully just in time for Christmas. We were celebrating our birthdays and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect end to the strange year it’s been! Big thanks to Pauline and Paul for their hospitality and drinks and biscuits. And another thanks to Finest Retreats for organising this!

This is by far the best air b and b that we have stayed in it literally felt like a home from home. So welcoming and tranquil. Pauline and Paul have literally thought of everything and everything we needed and more was available. Pauline was super helpful and was always available. she gave us great recommendations of places to go in the local areas. The garden is completely private and not over looked by anyone. The hot tub was perfect and such a nice way to relax in the evenings. Robes and towels are provided for the hot tub. Bed was super comfy. Everything was spotless when we arrived. It really did feel like a luxury break. We will be back for sure.

Stayed for a weekend and we'll be back. Spacious indoor area, lovely decking area with 2 person hot tub. Place is easy to find, and though attached to the owners property, is private and was left alone to do our own stuff. Will be back for a longer stay!

We had an extremely enjoyable stay at The Annexe. Pauline & Paul are such welcoming hosts & we appreciated the welcome goodies, fresh flowers & little extras that made our stay so special. The Annexe is spacious & extremely well equipped. We loved the outside space too & the hot tub was a real bonus. Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay. We'd love to return some time.
